on my recent visit to cuba was asked by a cuban barman would i be interested in swapping a £20.00 pair of pants for some cigars.said yes to him and two days later he turns up with 11 cohiba esplendidos my face lit up like a christmas tree. If you ever go to cuba you only have to befriend a barman or a waiter in your hotel they can all get proper cigars mine were from a shop,a barman and from a factory in holguin .contteray to whats said about buying fakes it,s not all true ,cubans all have such poor living standards they have to find ways to make ends meet.i've not had a fake cigar yet i paid $130.00 dollars for a box of partagas lustianas,cohiba 111 and monte#5 a bargain and all genuine.you have to be careful at customs as you dont get a stamp on the boxes obviously.
