That's interesting.. my first thought it that if Castro as to die there would be some political uncertainty and turmoil on the little island which would to some degree impact cigar prices however should the US be successful in ensuring a democratic state post Castro companies would be lining up to privatize the cigar producers which could impact the cigars as much as the price. If the companies are privatized the investors would want to hike the prices to reap their profits plus the supply of raw materials would increase in price as presently I'm guessing its regulated by the government all in all post Castro (a cigar lover himself) I see cigar prices increasing democracy does have its downfalls.
