Hi all, im new to this site and would like to enquire about cigar cutters as i would like to buy one as a gift for someone !
As i dont know anything about them could you please direct me in the right way.
My friend does like a good cigar from time to time so i would like it to be of quite a high standard ( I dont know if there is a particular brand ).

As with cigar lighters, there are many types of cigar cutters spanning the spectrum from plastic economy versions to complex and ornate guillotines. There are pocket sized guillotine cigar cutters which cleanly snap off the end of the cap and there are cigar piercers which punch a hole into the cigar. Guillotines are available in single or double-bladed renditions (double-bladed tend to be more effective).

I like the cutters that take like a "V" notch out of the end of the cigar. Just the right amount of opening and won't tare the outter wrapper.
