| I need help! I Have a humidor with roughly 60 nice assorted cigars, a few weeks ago a friend of mine thought he was doing me a favor when he half smoked one and then cut the end off and put it back in the humidor. When I found out a week later the stench of ashes is so strong it does not go away after 2 hours venting ... What can I do to get rid of the smell ? jm |

| I suggest that you try airing it for a day atleast (in most cases a week). If the smell isn't going away you might need to do something drastic such as put a shot glass filled with cogniac or whisky in the humidor to rid yourself of the stench.. though if you do this it may influence the flavour of your cigars for some time to come still much more pleasant that cold smoke. |
