Monte Cristo No 2 Tried one of these tonight. These are one of my favorites, and this one was from 95. A truly great cigar. Very full bodied, and a lot of flavor. You get that full body strength, but can also pick out the various flavors -- a bit of chocolate, cinnamon, and spice. There is kind of a cedary smell and taste (not that I know what cedar tastes like, LOL). John

Is there any way of telling what year the cigar is that you have? I was just given a Montecristo Cuban cigar...is there any way to tell what year it is from the band? Or do I need information from the box?

Usually the year of production can be found on the bottom of the box more likely than not a cigar bought in 2007 would've been packaged in 2006.
