Are you too high or too low? If you're too high, try adding some pieces of cedar wood to the inside of your humidor (or buy more cigars

). If you're too low, try rehidrating your credo (sponge). Also, you want to make sure your hydrometer is calibrated, even if it's a digital. I've been bitten by thinking I was way off in my humidity when it turned out my hydrometer needed massive calibration. Here is a good set of instruction on how to calibrate:

Also, as a lot of people will tell you who have been smoking for a while, do not be anal about keeping your cigars at an exact 70/70. Degrees in variation are ok. I would say that dryer is better then wetter. I try to keep my cigars at a good 67 but I'm fine if it drops to 65 or goes up to 70. After some time, just by touch and smoke, you'll be able to tell if your cigars are ok.
