Buying Cubans

Order from a shop in Switzerland. I visited several shops while in Geneva, and they take orders from their web site, disband the cigars, and will ship the bands and box separately. Prices are always very, very good. No need to name specific sites as they are easy to find by doing a search.

Buying from Spain is always very risky since US Customs is looking for Spanish imports....they are the biggest distributor of Cuban cigars.

Wherever you order from, the risk that customs confiscates them is always possible, but about four times less probable by not buying from Spain. You lose the cigars and the money nonetheless. The US has not prosecuted anyone bringing in Cuban cigars for personal consumption in over thirty years, loss of cigars aside.

Get the Partagas Serie D No. 4. It is, in my opinion, the best cigar I have ever smoked in my thirty years of experience. It is also a lot less expensive than a comparably sized Cohiba.

Rob

WTF? This is supposed to be a discussion about ordering cigars online not worthless junk for sale. If you have an advertisment for crappy sweat-shop humidors, you should post it on a different discussion.

I've never ordered from that site. They claim to be a Habanos dealer and the prices look about average to me. But no experience. Sorry.

Successful Purchase

I was happy with my order from overnightcigars.com. How do they buy the cigars so cheap? I own a cigar store in Atlanta and they have to be buying them for less than I pay for dominican cigars.

What about this site : cigars-of-cuba.com. It seems to be quite honest. The price look fine, but .... i can still go my way. Anyone had tried this on-line seller ??
